Training Lab for Alternative Drives and High Voltage Systems at Dongguan Technician College

In this project Christiani equipped a complete technical training lab for alternative drives and high voltage systems at the Dongguan Technician College in China. Moreover, besides the training stations for practical training, Christiani also provided its didactic concept for the theoretical teaching of the teaching contents. The key components of the training lab are the Christiani HV Trainer, a training system for electric drives and high voltage systems, the training stand Module Cart for HV Hazards and Accident Prevention and the Locktronic Teaching System for Hybrid Vehicle Systems.

After the training lab was set-up the teaching staff was trained on-site in a five-day train-the-trainer course to get a better understanding of the technologies and the products and how these can best be used in training. The train-the-trainer courses are an integral part of Christiani’s overall didactic concept for the technical training labs.

In the next step teachers and trainees of the Dongguan Technician College will be tested and certified by TÜV SÜD China. With the certification teachers and trainees reach level 2 of the TÜV SÜD Academy for electric drives and HV systems in vehicles. By using the technical training lab of Christiani the college is now able to qualify its teachers and trainees meeting the German professional standard.
