The VW ID.3 is the perfect basic vehicle for training and further education in the automotive sector. Thanks to its modular design, the vehicle can be didactically prepared according to the modular principle and optimally adapted for training purposes. Whether for basic learning content or complex gear changes, the VW ID.3 covers many training scenarios and thus offers a practical learning experience.

Safety:

Maximum safety during training: All airbags can be removed at the customer's request to eliminate potential sources of danger. Instead, the airbag system is simulated using resistor bridges, enabling error-free diagnosis.

Integrated emergency stop switch:

An emergency stop switch has been installed in the boot, which immediately disconnects the vehicle from the power supply if necessary. This provides additional safety in critical situations.

Fault-free control units:

All control units and vehicle systems remain in their original condition, which means that the vehicle's original settings are retained. immediately disconnects the vehicle from the power supply if necessary. This provides additional safety in critical situations.

Error-free control units:

All control units and vehicle systems remain in their original condition, enabling unrestricted diagnosis in accordance with the original manufacturer's documentation (circuit diagrams, repair manuals). The vehicle is equipped as standard with a manual fault switch box. There are 20 faults, which are implemented with toggle switches. Systems in which faults are built in: high-voltage system, charging system, maintenance plug, components of the high-voltage system, insulation faults, potential equalisation faults

Didactic preparation options:

The vehicle can be equipped with various didactic extensions to meet specific training requirements:

Upgrade fault circuit:

Simulates 30 faults outside the battery via Wi-Fi. These include faults in the low-voltage range of the vehicle electrical system, faults in HV components, and insulation and equipotential bonding faults in the high-voltage range.

Fault installation in:

High-voltage system, drive system, maintenance plug, charger, motor control unit, diagnostic connection, air conditioning compressor, and other systems

Battery fault circuit:

Enables 4 faults to be imported within the battery (only available in conjunction with the 62 kWh battery pack).

Precise measuring points:

Equipped with suitable measuring points on faulty components in the low-voltage range, optionally in 2 mm or 4 mm.

HV measuring module 1:

Developed for measuring and testing components outside the battery.

HV measuring module 2:

For measuring and testing components inside the battery (only available in combination with HV measurement module 1).

Transparent boot cut-out:

With a transparent cover for the power electronics and integrated, touch-protected measuring points for safe and clear training.

Further didactic adaptations:

Additional individual modifications can be made on request.
