The training board MTP700 from Christiani is a training device designed specifically for educational purposes. Its central element is the SIMATIC HMI MTP700 Unified Comfort Panel, which can be used to operate and monitor systems, machines and control systems. The didactic design of the industrial panel facilitates its use in educational environments and enables quick and easy connection to peripheral hardware. The 4 mm safety sockets offer reliable protection against accidental contact. The training board can be mounted in (existing) A4 experiment frames or used as a tabletop device. The 7" touch panel with widescreen TFT colour display complies with the current industry standard and offers 40% more screen space and more than twice the screen resolution of its predecessors. The wide range of integrated interfaces (USB, PROFIBUS and PROFINET) enable perfect interaction with the SIMATIC controllers of the S7 series. A licence for the SIMATIC WinCC Unified engineering software is included in the scope of delivery for configuring the touch panel. The seamless integration of WinCC into the TIA Portal, the common user interface and a shared database in the background results in perfect interaction with the STEP 7 programming software.
