The charging station Mobile Wallbox case is a fully functional charging station for pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles with Menneke's Type 2, Mode 3 charging standard. It has been specially developed as a charging station for training and demonstration purposes, ready for indoor and protected outdoor use.

The system is divided into an RCD and a charge control unit. The respective operating information of each unit is displayed on a separate display instrument.

The RCD monitors the AC and DC residual currents as well as the voltage of the individual phases and shows these on the display.

The charge control unit communicates with the vehicle based on the Mennekes Type 2 Mode 3 standard. It controls the locking and unlocking of the charging plug and the charging current.

The display shows:

  • the type of charging cable used
  • the current charging current
  • the current communication status between charging station and car
